About Us

Anna-Lisa Kanick and Sarah Bridges, knit, design, and teach in the Pacific Northwest. They are mother and daughter — go figure!

Sarah likes to be inspired by the yarn. And the yarn has taken her in many thrilling directions, most recently deep down the garter rabbit hole. She loves to hang out with other knitters — which may be her secret reason for teaching knitting.

Anna-Lisa is constantly intrigued by stitch patterns and color-play. She is never happier than when she is scribbling charts while three balls of yarn dangle from her needles. She loves to wear what she knits and strives to help others knit what they wear.
